Study Hall
An online study hall that is always open. Everyone who opens this page — from any country, at any time — is on the same Pomodoro clock: focus from :00 to :50 every hour, break from :50 to :00. Nothing to create, nobody to wait for: you just walk in and join the session that's already running.
Focus runs from :00 to :50 every hour.
Pick your room
- Deep work hall — 50 / 10: focus at :00, break at :50, every hour.
- Pomodoro hall — 25 / 5: focus at :00 and :30, break at :25 and :55.
Both rooms follow the clock, so "see you at the next :00" works with anyone, anywhere — handy for study buddies in different time zones.
Make it a daily habit
The calendar file adds a daily event with the Study Hall link at the full hour you choose — open it from the reminder and you're in sync with everyone else in the hall.
Pin it in your Discord or group chat
Unlike a bot or a voice-channel timer, the hall needs no setup, no permissions and no host. Members open the link and see exactly the same countdown. Want your own schedule instead? Make a custom link with the study together timer.
Why a shared clock helps
Knowing that other people started at the same minute makes it easier to start, too — it's the idea behind body doubling and library study halls. A fixed rhythm also removes a decision: you don't plan when to break, the hall does. Fifty-minute blocks suit essays, coding and exam prep; the 25-minute room is the classic Pomodoro for days when focus is harder to find.
Questions
Do I need an account or an app?
No. Open the page and the timer is already running. It works on phones, laptops and tablets.
I arrived in the middle of a session — what now?
Just join for the rest of it, or wait for the next :00. The timer shows exactly where the hall is. The pop-out window keeps it visible while you work in other apps.
Can I see who else is here?
No — nothing about you is sent anywhere. Every browser simply follows the same clock, which is what keeps the hall free, private and always open.
